She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Gaston Watson; her parents, Joseph M. Kirby and Willa May Kirby (Jones); her son-in-law Donald Benson; and her great grandchild Christopher Benson.
She is survived by: her grandson Wesley Benson; her sister Juanita Thompson (Dean) of Lawton, Oklahoma; her children, John William Watson, Jerald Dale Watson, Linda Kay Benson (Watson), Harold Gaston Watson, Jr., Walter Lee Watson and Tammy Ann Flaming (Watson); her adoptive son Jerry Allen Rose of Oklahoma; and her son Wesley Benson. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grand child.
She fought a strong, valiant fight against the devasting disease of Alzheimer's/dementia for several years.
