He is survived by: his wife Monica Ortiz of Merced; his sons, Tito Ortiz of Merced, Michael Herrera of San Jose and Simon Ortiz of Modesto; and his sister Mary Zamora of San Jose. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
