He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Busalacchi; his parents, Joseph Busalacchi and Katherine Busalacchi; and his sister Josephine Marioni. He is survived by: his sons, David (Tracy), Bryant (Deb) and Peter Jr. (Yvette); his grandchildren, Matteo, Dominic, Kaley, Ashley, Colby, Kyle, Melissa, Spencer and Tyler; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Corbelli and Cathy Barranti. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
