He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel F. Silva and Maria C. Silva; his wife Maria Elena Silva; his siblings, Estela V. Castro, Olga F. Silva of Changman, Elsa M. Silva, Gilberto P. Silva, Maria G. Silva of Gonzalez and Delia N. Silva Florian; and his daughters, Olga V. Silva and Maria Isabel Silva Velez. He was also cherished by 12 nieces and nephews, 31 grand-nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews, 3 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
