He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Contreras; his parents, Juan Contreras and Socorro Contreras; and his granddaughter Angel Christina Contreras. He is survived by: his children, Jess Contreras (Minerva), RoseMary Gusman (Joel) and Aundrea Contreras; and his siblings, Javier Contreras, Lupe De Groodt (Ron) and Helen Barragan (Sergio). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
