He is survived by: his wife Rosario Olores Martinez; his children, Glenn Martinez, Jane Slikker, Melanie Barbosa, Joan Martinez and Robert Martinez; and his grandchildren, Lorenzo Polanco, Isabel Barbosa, Isaac Barbosa, Zakai Rattanasinh, Ahnjali Rattanasinh, Olivia Martinez Levi Martinez and Benjamin Slikker.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (426 E 7th St, National City, CA 91950). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Miramar National Cemetery (5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122).
