She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Bruce Burkdoll and Frances Burkdoll (Kelley); her former life partner George Robert Carey (Bob); her husband Don Schroeder (Don); her children, Julia Picher, Robert Carey and Renee Aitelli (Peter); her grandchildren, Marcel Mendes (Erin), Alex Aitelli (Haley) and Audrey Aitelli; and her sister Charlene Golbek. She was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
