He was predeceased by : his parents, Mell Wilton Kilpatrick, Sr. and Katherine Elizabeth Woodworth Kilpatrick; his wife Sarah Ann Kilpatrick; and his siblings, Beverly, Patricia, Blanche, Evelyn and James.
He is survived by : his son Kent Kilpatrick (Connie Kilpatrick) of Maxton; and his grandsons, Andrew (Nicole) and Matthew Kilpatrick.
