He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Hoffmeyer and Jean Hoffmeyer; his daughter Marion; his wife Ruth Cheshire; his children, Kathryn, David (Angie) and Dennis (Patti); his stepson Robert Bigham; and his sister Marion Wymer of Fort Worth. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
