He is survived by : his wife Juanita Caliz Chavez; his children, Jorge Chavez (Patricia Alvidrez), Ivania Kahn (Patrick Kahn) and Elizabeth Unga (Jay Unga); his grandchildren, Patricia, Russell Pierce, Leon and Carmine Unga; and his siblings, Hipólito Rodriguez and Maria of Jesus Topete. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
