It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Shimazu (Penngrove, California), born in Petaluma, California, who passed away on October 21, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Masao Matsumoto (Kim), George Matsumoto (Dorothy) and Helen Tsujihara (Mitsuo); and her siblings-in-law, Tom Taketa, Harry Hara and Chi Nakamoto (Bob).
She is survived by: her son Gerald; her sibling Marilyn Taketa; her sibling-in-law Seiko Hara; and her spouse Tom Shimazu. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
