He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ritchie and Theresa Ritchie (Sawicki); his brother Curt; his sister-in-law Kathleen; and his nephews, Michael and Russell.

He is survived by: his wife Christine; and his children, Darren, Amanda and Zachary.
