He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kaufman and Edna Kaufman (Steinklein); and his siblings, Gladys Esenstein and Saul Kaufman (late Ilene Kaufman) of Tarzana, CA. He is survived by: his spouse Dorita Kaufman of Playa Vista, CA; his children, Laurie Thomas (Eric Thomas) of Toluca Lake, CA and Steve Kaufman (Sally Bryant); his brother Harvey Kaufman (Bella Kaufman); and his sister-in-law Clara Mayman of Agoura Hills, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
