He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Root. He is survived by: his son Turner Root; his father Tad Root; his brothers, Steven Root (Hanna) and Jeff Root (Tammy); his nieces, Brianna (Jason), Krista (Thomas), Jessica, Mary, Vanessa and Virginia (Justin); and his godson Travis.
