It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Verna Foster of Port Hueneme, California, born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Galen Byers, Sr.; her husband Elvin "Steve" Iradell Foster; her son Ronald L. Foster; and her siblings, Galen Byers, Jr., Clair "Pete" Byers and Anna Kepner.

She is survived by : her son Steven "Steve" Foster (Kim) of Port Hueneme, CA; her granddaughters, Jennifer Rivas (Felix) of Port Hueneme, CA and Laura Foster (Jovan Montanez) of Filmore, CA; her great grandchildren, Blaise Rivas, Nesta Rivas, Giselle Rivas, Olive Rivas and Amelia Rivas; and her brother James Byers of Dillsburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
