It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sally Marie Alvarado of Port Hueneme, California, who passed away at the age of 87, on April 16, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Padilla and Leonor Padilla; her sons, Andrew Padilla and Matthew Alvarado; her daughter-in-law Kay Alvarado; and her siblings, Carmen Ayala, Aurora Aguirre, Frank Garcia, Fidel Olague, Joe Padilla, Virginia Lopez, Elvira "Vera" Vegas and Easther Jimenez.

She is survived by : her children, Joe Alvarado Jr., Paul Alvarado (Thomas Berg) and Lisa Chase; and her sisters, Rachel Calderon and Betty Troutt. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reardon Funeral Home (511 N A St, Oxnard, CA 93030). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Clara Chapel (1333 Ventura Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93036). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Santa Clara Cemetery (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036).
