Lavada Storment Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 97, Lavada Storment of Covina, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lavada farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lavada is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Griffin and Alma McAlister Griffin; her husband Orlin Storment; her son David; and her sisters, Geneva Collins (Lewis) and Norma Kay Davis (Bud).
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Walsh (David) of Alta Loma and Donna Storment of Anderson, Indiana; her granddaughters, Kelli Walsh Holleman (Tom) of Miami and Erin Walsh-Moloney (Jim) of Newport Beach, California; and her great grandchildren, Clara Holleman of Charleston, Will Holleman and Charlie Holleman of Miami. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
