He was predeceased by: his father Mazar Hassanally; and the mother of his children Claudia Hassanally. He is survived by: his mother Meher Hassanally; his wife Teresa Hassanally; his daughters, Alya Lucas (Chris), Nadia Damm (Joseph) and Leila Gilland (Kevin); his grandchildren, Christopher Lucas, Ashley Hawley, Maya Damm, Jackson Damm, Alyssa Damm and Hazel Gilland; and his siblings, Siraj Hassanally, Fowzia Taqi, Azra Hassanally and Qamar Murtaza.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Green Hills Memorial Park (27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
