He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Barkell and Mildred Barkell; and his daughter Elizabeth Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Shannon Barkell of Red Bluff; and his daughters, Patti Hall of Red Bluff and Jeri O'Dwyer (Rory) of Woodinville, WA.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
