He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Benson; his children, Dana Benson (Kristin), Kristin Hunter, Gary Tabb (Jane) and Keith Tabb; and his siblings, Leland Benson of Palos Verdie and Linda Hightower (Gordon). He is also survived by many sister and brother in laws, many nieces and nephews.
