He was predeceased by: his sons, David Skelton and Steven Skelton. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Cheryl Smith; his brother Rodney Skelton; and also, Michael and Russell. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.

At his request services will be private and donations can be made in his memory to the PBY Memorial Foundation, 270 SE Pioneer Way, Oak Harbor, Washington 98277.
