He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ernest and Florence Ernest; his siblings, Fred and Susan; and his grandsons, Daniel and Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Karen, Cathy, Sharon and Laura; and his sons-in-law, Fred, Tim and Jim. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Ridgecrest Church of the Nazarene marked "In memory of Doug Ernest -World Missions Fund." The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice of Lake Isabella for their loving and compassionate care.
