She was predeceased by: her husband Jan Gieger; her parents, Ray E. Vaughan and Florence Vaughan (Carnes); and her brother Sammy (Lorene). She is survived by: her sons, Jason and Jacob; her niece Caroline; her sister Elisabeth; her brother-in-law Guy; and her grandson Benjamin.
