He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin Swanson, Sr. and Mercedes Cordray; and his sister Edna Dill. He is survived by: his siblings, Carl Swanson, Mary Dee Camerer, Edith Pyles and Doris Raley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his wife Doris Swanson; his sons, John Andrew Swanson (Cathy) of Naperville, Illinois and Brian Edwin Swanson (Kendra Kocher) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Marie Ponce of Cheney, Washington, John Anthony Swanson, William Swanson and Edward Swanson of Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Jay Ponce, Tyler, Parker, Oliver, Atlas, Bodie, Randall and Lorelai Swanson.
Per demographic, recommendations from the CDC and requirements for DOD locations, masks and social distancing are required.
