He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Hoopes and Mary Patterson Hoopes; and his siblings, Clement D. Hoopes, Bill Hoopes, Mary Nevin, Agnes Waldman and Virginia Staveckes. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
Per his request, Bob asked in lieu of flowers that one "support your local bar or liquor store!".
