He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas F. Canning Jr. and Grace Curry Canning; his wife Evelyn; his brothers, Harry Canning (Jean) of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. and Richard Canning (Betty); his children, Peter (Angelika) of Grand Junction and Amy (Larry) of Kansas; and his stepchildren, Jim Bumgardner (Sherri) of Stateline, Cathe Pool and John Bumgardner of Carson City. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
