She was predeceased by : her parents, George Gill and Josie Gill; and her stepson Tim Allen. She is survived by : her husband Hugh Allen; her daughters, Vicki Brockhage (Dave) of Reno and Cynthia Eckholm Legg (William) of San Diego; her stepdaughter Tricia Bebber of Denver; her sisters, Frances Phy of Rocklin and Genevieve Vaden (Carl) of San Diego; her grandchildren, Erica Scheetz (Steve), Nolan Brockhage, Mary Petrilena (Jason), Jocelyn Lee (Phil), Cooper Brockhage, Ethan Eckholm, Elliot Eckholm, Kai Allen, Eva Bebber and Griffin Bebber; her great grandchildren, Ruby and Sam Scheetz; her nephew Mark Vaden; and her niece Tracy Borg.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Josie's name in support of breast cancer research.
