She is survived by: her parents, Ellie Spannaus (Genutt) and Heinz Spannaus; her siblings, Jurgen and Klaus; her husband Jim Pekkain; her children, Gail, Robert, Rebecca and Lucy (Terry); her grandchildren, Alexandra (Garo), Spencer (Yvette), Nicole (Peter), Danny (Katy), Christina, Jessica, Bobby (Rochelle) and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Taline, Lorelei, Tristan, Landon, Isaiah, Elery, Finn, Lennox and Oscar.
