He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvin Bean and Faye Bean; and his brothers, James "Jim" and Noel Bean. He is survived by: his wife Ellie Mae Bean; and his children, Keith Bean (Terri), Brian Bean, Janet Bragg (Montel) and Robyn Moltzen (Michael). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Donations can be made in Tom's name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) the world's largest voluntary (nonprofit) health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
