He was predeceased by: his wife Eugenia Rios; and his sister Sanjuana. He is survived by: his siblings, Ricardo, Jose, Paulina and Alfonsa; and his children, Blanca (Javier), Rosa (Eleuterio), Elvia (Jose), Marisa (Ted), Ymelda, Antonia, Patricia, Teresa, Gonzalo Jr (Connie) and Daniel Jr (Beatriz). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
