She was predeceased by: her husband Rudy Rivera; and her parents, Miguel Garza and Guadalupe Garza. She is survived by: her children, Mark Rivera (Paige) and Dora Valverde (Joshua); her grandchildren, Hannah Bezanson (Courtney Edwards), Sarah Mahr (Tony), Anthony Mahr, Sophia Mahr, Regina Chessari (Evan), Joshua Valverde, Keith Rivera (Amy), Jaina Garcia (Joey) and Jonan Valverde; her great grandchildren, Jolene Garcia, Harper Edwards and Judah Garcia; and her siblings, Liz Flores, Ethel Peterson (Ray) and Paul Garza (Lupe). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
