She was predeceased by: her stepmother Carol Pezzini (Merrihew). She is survived by: her husband Larry Sumter; her daughters, Casee Sanders and Cherokee Sumter; her parents, Mike Pezzini and Angela Hansen (Curatolo); her stepfather Robert Hansen; her siblings, Mike Pezzini, Jr., Suzan Pezzini and Lisa Reimann (Pezzini); and her grandmother Elena Pezzini. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Quality of Life Project http://www.msqlp.org or the SPCA of Monterey County.
