It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton B. Parker Jr. (San Diego, California), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 20, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton B. Parker, Sr. and Gertrude Johnson Parker; and his sister Barbara Davis. He is survived by: his wife Irene Guderian Parker; his children, Claudia Holton (Randy Holton) of Prosperity, SC, Alton B. Parker, III (Sheila Parker) of Hendersonville, NC and Lisa Houston (Carl Houston) of Cynthiana, KY; and his sister Geraldine Lindsay (General James). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
