Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol Ann (Scott) Alvarez (San Diego, California), born in Ada, Oklahoma, who passed away at the age of 75, on January 23, 2020. She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel J. Alvarez; her brother Don I. Scott; and her parents, Charles "Charlie" Crumrine Scott and Mafalda "Sissy" Ingle Scott. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Alvarez Doupsas (George); her grandchildren, Nicholas and Christina Doupsas; her stepdaughter Mary Anna Alvarez Tomanelli (Steve); and also, Jason Poellot (Heather), Jaden and Caleb Poellot. She is also survived by many cousins and other relatives.
Donations can be made in their honor to the Fleet Science Center at Balboa Park, one of Carol's and her family's favorite causes in San Diego.
