It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Paul Hamill Jr. in San Diego, California, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barbara Smith, Daniel and Marie Hamill. He is survived by: his son Valen-Dawson Joseph Ortiz; his mother JoAnn Dill (William); his sister Dar Herring (Rob); his nephews, Cagney and Azazel; his niece Phaedra; his grandfather Homer Smith; and his cousins, Jennifer, Rich, Laura, Zack, Michael, Jamie, Stephen, Joey, Caitlin, Stephanie, Jacob, Andrea, Sean, Ben, Jeremy, Lina and Rigby.
Interment will be private. (Due to COVID 19 restrictions, masks are required.).
