He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother-in-law Jonesy Scott; his cousin Kenny Oatman; his grandparents, Jane Oatman (Allen) of Kamiah, James and Mary Miles (Penney) of Sweetwater; his children, Aaron Miles Sr. (Julie) of Pullman, Justine Miles Ramsey (Rich) of Lapwai, Rebecca Miles of Lapwai and Delores Miles of Lapwai; his sister Mary Jane Miles of Culdesac; his great grandchild Riston Gary Johnson Miles; his parents, David Miles and Beatrice Miles; and his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Miles, Geraldine Miles-Webb and Loretta Burke-Scott. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
