He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roger, Helen, Elaine, Alice and Margaret.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Steen of San Diego, CA, Ken Steen (Kelley) of Crawfordsville and Nicki Henry (Johnny) of Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Kennedy, Kole, Korbin, Kullen and Levi.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations in David's name be given to Gideons International.
