He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Grieve and Ethel Grieve; his wife Louise Lievero; his children, Margaret and Eric (Shelly); his grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan), Alison (Gabe), Logan and Juliet; his great grandchild Niko; and his sons, Donald and Douglas.

In remembrance, the family suggests donations to Skip's church (Christ Episcopal Church, in Puyallup) or to the Pierce County Public Library.
