He is survived by: his wife Robin Konishi; his pet Sadie; his siblings, Kelli Crain and Jeff Konishi (Sara); his stepmother Nanette Konishi; his stepbrother Matt (Angie); his brother Jay; and his sister-in-law Rita Anderson.

Scott married Robin Reich on June 11, 1988 and they were married for over 32 years until his death on January 10, 2021 of complications from Covid-19.
