It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnestine Cherry (San Diego, California), born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 31, 2017, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Cherry Sr.; her son Wayne Albert Cherry Sr.; her parents, Albert Jordan and Flossie Jordan; and her brothers, Arthur, Albert, Willie, Johnny B., Clarence and Herman.
She is survived by: her stepfather President Carter Sr.; her children, Donna Manson, Manuel Cherry, Jr and Bruce Cherry; her siblings, Rubye Lee (Ronald), Scarlet Henderson (Johnny), Patricia Hearne, James Edward Carter (Frances), President Carter and Sidney Carter (Barbara); Papa. She is also survived by grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
