He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hazel Evelyn Wilson and Harold Ernest Hucke; his brother Robert Hucke; his children, Ruth Parker Robinson (Charles Wesley III) of New Orleans, Edward Wilson Hucke and Anne Tanner Herrmann (Kurt) of San Diego; his grandchildren, Whitney Stoddard Kirby (Jordan), Sarah, Elizabeth Herrmann of La Jolla, Ann Amelia and William Whitfield Sternbergh of New Orleans; his great grandchild John Whitfield Kirby; his parents-in-law, Martha Stanton, Dr. William and Lois Stanton; his niece Lisl Stanton; his son Robert Stanton Hucke; and his grandson Jared Whitfield Sternbergh.
