It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Evelyn Elgas (San Diego, California), who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ossie Hakala and Siiri Hakala; her husband Eugene Elgas; and her siblings, Ralph, Raymond Hakala and Vieno Elaine Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Berger (Guy), Kathleen Elgas, Gary Elgas (Catherine), Karen Macauley (Wesley), Lisa Duncan (Steve) and Kevin Elgas (Tracey); her grandchildren, Allen Ashdown (Christina), Jesse Ashdown (Jessica), Carmen Garrigan (Sean), Randy Ashdown (Marissa), Jennifer Macauley (Joseph), Ashley Elgas, Christopher Macauley (Melina), Justine Saunders (Kurt), Alex Elgas (Kelly), Jarrett Duncan (Audrey), Jordan Duncan, Emily Elgas and Jack Elgas; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Garrigan, Benton Ashdown, Lilliana Garrigan, Lucas Ashdown, Kandelin Saunders, Jolee Saunders, Logan Duncan and Nicholas Posillico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
