She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Leonard Owen and Mary Anna Culpepper (Moody); her children, Billy Beddingfield (Lara), Bobby Gurney, Boyd Gurney and Leslie Cattaneo (Giovanni); her granddaughters, Holly and Marilyn Cattaneo; her husband Everett Connell; and her brothers, Leonard Owen Jr. and Murphy Culpepper. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
