He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Savage and Mary Netusil (Jan); and his brother Alan Savage. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rose Bada; his pets, Zsa Zsa, Finkelstein, Siva Biela, Flower of Peu, Katty Annie, Holly, Lewis and Bonnie; his sister Suzanne White (Richard); his cousin Jeanette Shumaker (Andy); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Donchess (John), Marlene Savage, Maryann Heim (Charles) and Christine Ausnehmer (Gregg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
