He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kaster and Armelda Kaster (Bacus); and his siblings, Cecil Banks, Jerry Lee Kaster, Paul Kaster and Shirley Balkema.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Samples; his children, Becky Bayliss, Lavina Sones, Angela Lopez and Ericka Stark; and his siblings, Pat Kraber, June Peck and Judy MacDonald.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
