Janel Lynn Akiyama Meehan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janel Lynn Akiyama Meehan (San Diego, California), who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son Andrew; and her pet Greta. She is survived by : her friends, Deanna, Rori and Yosemite National Park; her husband Bob Meehan; her sons, Bobby and Michael; her stepchildren, Shannon, Jessica and Kevin; her sisters, Lisa and Gail Akiyama; her pet Gemma; her sister-in-law Mary; her close friend Pam; and her parents, Jack Akiyama and Patricia Akiyama. She is also survived by friends, coworkers, parents.

These bags, that were particularly helpful during the pandemic, included uplifting notes, chocolates, journals, tissues, plush bears and "Jesus Loves YOU" wristbands.
