It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Burt (San Diego, California), who passed away on January 21, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Orville Burt and Mabel Eugenia Hall (Burt); his wife Eileen Eleanor Burt (Hansen); his stepmother Marguerite Gertrude Burt (Massey); his brother Richard Burt; and his grandchildren, Timothy Smith, Ramon Vigil, Kayleigh Mae Burt and Gwendolyn Vigil.
He is survived by: his friend Art Gilbert (Shirley); his daughter Lisa Burt; his friend Mark Helms; his children, Jacqueline North (James) of Livingston, TX, Noelle Vigil (Albert) of Buena Vista, CO and Eric Burt (Lisa) of Alamosa, CO.; his brothers, Blaine Burt (Karen) of South Fork, CO and Nolen Burt (Dee) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Hansen and Marie. He is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren and three Great Great Grandchildren, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
