She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stan Surowiec and Mary Surowiec; her husband David; her daughter Jennifer; her brother Stephen Surowiec (Sharon); her sister-in-law Susan Alberstein; her brother Mark of Visalia; and her sister-in-law Marla Alberstein of Visalia. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, and dozens of cousins.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made in Kathy's memory to the Friends of the Tulare County Library.
