He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Coffey (Hodge); his children, Kent Coffey (Dana), Marcie Wheatley (Brent), Terri Benedix (Dean), Thom Nees (Melanie) and Zachary Coffey; his son-in-law Daniel Hienrich; his grandchildren, Kenneth (Sarah Coffey), Kelly Goetzler (Coffey), Casey (Michael LeBuhn), Austin (Emily Coffey), Cally (Ryan Elliot), Jackie Roy Coffey (JR), Katie (J. B. Robinson), Kimberly (Brian Roberts), Joshua (Kelsey Nees), Sam (Emily Nees), Benjamin Nees, Caleb Nees and Hannah Nees; his great grandchildren, Parker, Avery, Olivia, Ava, Jamie, Penny and Sebastian; his brother Edwin Coffey; and his sibling's children, Pam Urban (Alan) and Chuck Coffey (Kathy).
