She is survived by: her parents, Brenda Michelle Wright and Duane Owens; her child Movante "Moe" Gilliam (Kuulei Lopez-Griggs); her grandson Tupu Tasi Gilliam; her stepmother Toni Owens; her brother Duane Owens Jr. (Christina Murphy); her niece Da'Mia Owens; her grandmothers, Dorothy Wright and Vera Owens "Big Mama"; her stepsiblings, Tyrah Hunter and Markell Hunter; and her aunts and uncles, Cassandra Wright Jenkins, Gloria Wright Sims, Connie Wright, Sherry Wright, Cellestine Owens, Robin Owens, Dire Turner, Terry Turner, Jerry Wright and Louis Beasley. She is also survived by beautiful extended family full of cousins and friends.
